The 9th European Congress of Toxicologic Pathology was a joint congress together with the 29th meeting of the European Society of Veterinary Pathology (ESVP), a meeting since 2009 arranged in close collaboration with the European College of Veterinary Pathologists (ECVP). The congress was held at the campus of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala, Sweden from September 7 to 10, 2011. The congress organization team would like to thank all sponsors, exhibitors, speakers and participants for their valuable contributions and we are looking forward to another wonderful meeting in Stresa, Italy, 2012. |

- Dr. Annika Herrmann received the ESTP Publication Award 2011 for her publication "Semi-automated quantitative image analysis of podocyte desmin immunoreactivity as a sensitive marker for acute glomerular damage in the rat puromycin aminonucleoside nephrosis (PAN) model".
- Dr. Aswin L. Menke received the ESTP Publication Award 2011 for his publication "Normal anatomy and histology of the adult zebrafish".
